Measurement of angle

Let Us Learn About Measurement Of Angle

Good Evening my dear little friends!!

How good are you in Geometry? Its good to see that we have many geometry problem solver these days online. Have you tried drawing any angle.

First let us understand the meaning of Angle.

An angle is an amount of rotation of a half-line (or ray) in a plane about its end point from an initial position to a terminal position

1) Acute Angle :

An angle whose measure is less than 90º is called an acute angle. In other words, an angle which is greater than a zero angle but less than a right angle is called an acute angle.

2. Right Angle:

An angle whose measure is 90º is called a right angle.

3.Obtuse Angle:

An angle whose measure is greater than 90º degree but less than180 degree is called an obtuse angle. In other words, an angle which is greater than a right angle but less than a straight angle is called an obtuse angle.

4.Straight Angle :

An angle whose measure is 180 º is called a straight angle.

1 straight angle = 2 right angles = 2 x 90º = 180 º

5) Reflex angle :

An angle whose measure is more than 180 but less than 360 is called a reflex angle. In other words, an angle greater than a straight angle and less than a complete angle is called a reflex angle.

6) Zero Angle :

An angle measuring 0 is called a zero angle. When two arms of an angle lie on each other, 0 angle is formed.

Try to figure out the angles given in above picture and let me know your views on this….
