factors

We been working on factorization from so many days. Today lets learn or look at the factors of 56 it is the same as we learn t factors of 32 in some of our post we have learn t the factor tree also. Look at the image beside, it gives you an idea how the factor tree looks.


The factors of 56 are 1,2,4,7,8,14,28,and 56.




Finding factors is a very simple concept in mathematics which i think a Grade 3 or 4 child should be aware of.
Look below of the factors of 49

49 is a composite number this can be proved because it has factors other than 1 and itself. It is not a prime number. The 3 factors of 49 are 1, 7, and 49. It is square number, 72, so it has an odd number of factors.
